Review:
Sora Uta: This is the first upbeat song that is sung by alan. alan is most famous for her ballads because since her debut at the end of last year, she has been releasing singles that is slow and shows her vocal abilities. Sora Uta, however, is very different from her other three singles. First, it's more of an upbeat song and she also sings some of the chorus in English. I have been playing this song over and over on my iTunes right now because it tends to stick to your head. I can't really comment on the lyrics since I don't understand Japanese enough to translate and since this song is pretty new, those smart Japanese translators haven't translate the lyrics yet. However, I can comment on the music of course. Whoever that wrote the music is pretty amazing and is probably Japanese. This Japanese dude can really produce addictive music.
My Stage: My Stage seems to me like the producers wanted alan to sing some more upbeat songs instead of ballads so they wrote another upbeat song and it doesn't matter if it's good or not. As of now, I don't really like this song. It's too "pop" and happy, thus making the song song a bit immature and young. Like Sora Uta, I don't know what the lyrics is about so I can really deprieve the lyrics.
Overall, I think this is a pretty okay single for alan but "Sora Uta" really covered the mistakes made by "My Stage", so it's a worthy single.
