Review:
I gave this novel four stars out of five. Breaking Dawn is an awesome continuation and conclusion to the Twilight saga, but if you were to look at it as a stand-alone book, this book would not be known as a bestseller or one of the best book in contemporary art. The reason that this book sells is because Twilight is one of the best novels in this era and the characters that were created in the first novel grasped our attention and made us fanpires. The following two books are not as good as the first but still better than Breaking Dawn for some reason. I think the main reason why I don't think BD is as good of a book as the other books in the series is because it didn't feel as much of a Twilight book. Sure, there are the same characters and stuff but the plot line is not the same as your typical Twilight novel. Don't get me wrong, readers will get hooked once you started reading, since Twilight has already got the readers addicted to the saga, but somehow, BD is not as strong as the other books. I didn't feel the excitement as much as I did when I was reading the first novel.

However, even though BD may not be the best Twilight book around, Stephenie Meyer still did a fabulous job finishing up the novel. I am very satisfied with the ending and this book actually did not leave me with many disappointments; disappointments as to what happened to the characters and such. The sad thing is that I didn't even felt sad when I finished the last page! I must be less emo after the lack of sleep or the plots didn't make me feel like missing the series that much. Which is kind of sad. I was brawling my eyes out when I finished Deathly Hallows, Twilight, and every last book of series but I didn't for BD, so that was kind of weird. I am usually pretty emo, but anyway...I really do recommend people to read BD...well actually, I really recommend people reading Twilight and since the first book will get 99% of the people hooked, it is likely that people will continue reading the rest of the saga and BD is pretty essential to the whole series.

On another note, this novel just made me like, no, LOVE Jacob more. I just love his personality and BD really reveals a lot of Jacob Black personality. He is outgoing, funny, goofy, and caring. Here's a little spoiler...did you laugh when he attacked with all those "dumb blond" jokes? It was hilarious! Well, the way he uses it, not really the jokes. But I am glad that Stephenie wrote BD this way (Which way? You will find out when you read the book). I think the "format" of this book is one of the reason that made the novel feel less "Twilight"-like.

I just want to clarify that I am "Team Jacob" but not as in "Jacob and Bella". I think Edward is meant for Bella but I just love the character Jacob!
