TVXQ vs. SM…group not disbanding…right?!

Couple of weeks ago, rumor has it that TVXQ is disbanding but it was just rumors, right? Well, today more information came out when Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu of TVXQ sued their management company, SM Entertainment because SM wouldn’t let them terminate the “exclusivity clause” in TVXQ’s contract. The whole K-Pop community went into frenzy upon hearing this piece of news. Angry rumors have been spreading that the trio will leave the band if SM does not settle this case. However, that is not true since the bond between the TVXQ members remain strong so nobody is going to disband. This “battle” is between TVXQ and SM Ent…Information showed that of all the money that TVXQ made, they only get 20% share between the five members while SM Ent. get 80%. This lawsuit is to settle the exclusivity clause that belongs to SM. SM released an official statement that said the following:

“TVXQ absolutely must continue actitivies.”

But all their schedules at the upcoming SM TOWN Concert has been removed from the official site (don’t know if it’s back yet, didn’t check).

Ohmygawddddddddd. When I first log onto the computer today, I went to All K-Pop and saw this little article about TVXQ disbanding and thought I was gonna pass out. I did hear about the rumors couple of weeks ago and I thought the rumor ending up true. But the thing is that I know that the members are still pretty tight so there’s no way to disband, right? I mean, H.O.T did end up being disbanded because of disputes between them and SM. I just don’t see TVXQ disbanding. I think SM just got to give in to this exclusivity clause thing. Even if they give in, they will still earn a lot of money off of the boys. I mean, come on now! 20% to share between the five members?! That is bull! It seems like Yunho and Changmin aren’t part of the plaintiff but they seem to be uniting as TVXQ in this lawsuit against this “slave contract,” as angry fans have been calling it.

I can see the amount of refunds for SM Town concert if TVXQ does split from SM. I would be one of them even though I would love to see Super Junior live in SM Town…but with all this crap, I would skip a year and let SM see the blow TVXQ’s cassies can cause them. HA.

July 28, 09 OMG (again)!!! All About DBSK 3 is ready for…

Pre-Ordering!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I am talking about the Korea Version…the one where English subtitles are available. OMG, I already pre-ordered my own copy on YesAsia. All About Dong Bang Shin Ki Season 3 is a box-set of 6 DVDs documentary on my fave people in the world, TVXQ, of course. The version I pre-ordered is first press and it comes with the 6 DVDs, a 60-page photobook (first press only), and a folded-poster (’cause I couldn’t afford to pay $10 more just for a poster shipped in a tube). BUT OMG, I can’t wait for it to come out! I was jumping up and down with my laptop in my hands when I went to YesAsia for my daily DBSK check-up. You see, I have been waiting for the “Korea Version” to become available for pre-ordering ’cause it is cheaper than the Japan version and also comes with English subs. And what’s more, this year, the DVDs are available in Region 1 discs…meaning, I can watch it in the downstairs living room with my parents’ 42” plasma TV. YAY!

According to YesAsia, the DVD is going to come out on August 17, but all other official releases say that it is going to be released on the 14th. So let’s hope that it is going to be release earlier, that way I can watch it before I go to school!

I just ordered the Please be Mine photobook from ebay, ’cause some Korean dude is selling it for a lot cheaper than YesAsia ($52 on YA O_o)…so I am waiting for that to arrive. OMG, can’t wait to see those pictures! I haven’t been spoiling myself by looking at the scans that many DBSK fansites/sites have been posting. Heh.

There are two things that I am worrying about after all this happy business. My wallet (which is in negative figures now that I have pre-ordered the DVD set) and the “folded” poster. I hope it’s not gonna be bent badly, so I can put it up. But gosh, if I order it with a tube, that’s $69.99! JUST FOR A TUBE! Is not worth it, eh? Right? Right?

July 23, 09 New TOHOSHINKI/TVXQ releases coming soon!

Heh heh, another piece of Asian news. My fave TOHOSHINKI (TVXQ) is going to release yet another new Japanese single…their 29th single. Wow. I was browsing YesAsia.com late, late last night when I found out that they are releasing a new single. The single is under Jaejoong and Yoochun though. The new single’s name is COLORS -Melody and Harmony-. It is a song that they wrote together and performed at their Secret Code tour. I read that it is very good. No, I haven’t listen to it yet. I am saving it as a surprise. No further information is available at the moment but I can’t wait til the tracklist is released and of course, the covers!

On the other hand, in the K-Pop scene, they are going to release the CD-format of their MIROTIC tour, a.k.a. the 3rd Asia Tour: MIROTIC. It is going to be a 2-CD package and the tracklist is already released on YesAsia, so we’ll definitely know what’s going to be in the DVD tracklist! YAY! July 21, 09 Congrats to Emma!

In a recent interview with Paste Magazine, Emma Watson revealed that she will be attending Brown University in the States! One of the Ivy League schools! I am so proud of her…she turned out as smart as Hermione Granger. You go, girl! Anyway, I think this is some important news, don’t you think? According to the interview, she will be studying English Literature. Well, best of luck to her! Below are some previews of the interview.

Paste: You are off to University in the autumn.

Watson: I am—to Brown, which is an Ivy League establishment in the U.S.A. I’ve got a place there to read literature.

Paste: Was that a deliberate career choice?

Watson: Oh yes, very definitely. I hope to do quite well with my A Levels [she’s being modest—she achieved straight A’s in her chosen subjects, English literature, geography and art, as well as seven A’s and three A* at GCSE level] and they’ve provisionally accepted me, so I’m off to study.

Paste: And was that also an equally deliberate choice, to step out of the limelight for a while?

Watson: It’s not so much that, no, I’m not trying to hide or anything like that. It sounds so geeky, but I really do like studying and reading, and if I’m not working on Harry Potter, then my greatest relaxation is to sit with a book. That’s how I escape stress—in literature. I always have several books on the go at any one moment, so it’s no good you asking “What’s on the bedside table at the moment, Emma?” because often I can’t even see the table! I think that all that reading is just about the only similarity I have with Hermione, if you ask me.

Paste: Even so, some of your fellow students are going to recognize you.

Watson: That’s inevitable, I suppose, some of them must have seen the films over the years. But I do hope that it will be only a short time before I am known as “Emma Watson, the student from the U.K.” rather than “Emma Watson who starred in those Harry Potter films.”

I always admire celebs like Emma Watson, thus one of my faves include Natalie Portman. These celebs don’t go partying hard when they are like, umm, high school and/or college age. They really wanted to be a normal kid and graduate from school. So kudos for Emma! I respect her more day by day…and I happen to be a year older than her too! So, best of luck to her and I hope her fans at Brown wouldn’t get overreacted and bother her on her studies.

OMG THOSE LUCKY BROWN STUDENTS!!!

I wish I can go to an Ivy school…but I don’t have the pocketbooks. XD

July 17, 09 Gone Asian…and lazy.

I can’t believe I am saying this but I guess I have turned completely Asian. I totally remodeled my room full of posters of my favorite K-Pop bands, and Ayumi Hamasaki. A month or two ago, if you enter my room, you would think that you entered a typical American girl’s room (well, I guess I am still a typical American girl). Now, if you enter, you are definitely gonna say, “This girl is Asian.” Oh well, I guess I am Asian afterall. But then besides the music stuff, I am not very Asian…haha. I mean, I still haven’t have a crush on a single Asian guy, except for the boys in those awesome K-Pop bands heehee.

On the other hand, I can’t believe I am gonna say the following. I have gone completely lazy on the internet. I am officially announcing that I am taking a break from the internet. I guess after more than 8-10 years, I have finally grown a bit tired of fansites. I hope it will get back to me after my break from it. So watch out for my return. I guess I will blogging here like I am now, just not the usual news.

I know, I know, I promised a little Half-Blood Prince review, but I guess I will do so after I watch it for the second time. I think I was too sleepy last time to really give a judgement.

Okay, now onto the Asian-ness. I have made a Super Junior wallpaper couple of days ago and thought I should post it here now. =] Also made some icons just now…check them out.

Heehee, displaying some of my top SuJu faves…Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Ryeowook, & leader Teukie. So, today is the kick-off of SJ’s 2nd Asia Tour! YAY! I really wanna go, but too bad it’s in Asia…’cause duh, it is the “Asia” tour. I REALLY WANNA GO~~~

I feel very disappointed in Kibum. I know he’s injured and all that, but couldn’t he show up at the concert as an audience member, at least? I mean, even SHINee showed up! Gosh…I hope he does something to redeem himself as a SuJu member, or I don’t see myself forgiving him quickly…I mean, I really like him…but gosh.

July 15, 09 Wow. 1 Year Anniversary

Hi quick post here…it’s currently 3:56AM…Just finished watching Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. What do I think? Well, I will write a review when I wake up in the morning…or rather, afternoon. To make it brief, I give it a A-/B+. Definitely better than Order of the Phoenix but not the best HP film. I think David Yates is making Potter films un-Potterish. Kinda sad. Anyway, at least 85% better than Twilight, so that’s good eh?

Anyway, I just noticed that I have opened this site for a year! I opened this site on July 14, 2008 and yesterday was July 14th! Gosh, I didn’t even notice.

Okay, gonna sleep. Later!

July 14, 09 OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG AGAIN!

TOHOSHINKI has done it again. July 13th of 2009 (Japan time), marks the day that TOHOSHINKI/DBSK/TVXQ beats both Koda Kumi and ARASHI on the Oricon charts! YAY!!!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE DOMINATING THE JAPANESE MUSIC SCENE!!!

CONGRATULATIONS, TVXQ!!!

Oh my gosh, I am so proud of my oppas!

On the other hand, can’t wait for tonight…Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince finally hits theater! YAY! I am so excited! I finished reading the book earlier this morning and has been crying my eyes out ever since. I really want to see how the film turn out. I hope it is at least entertaining! Or I will be really angry at David Yates for ruining two of the HP films…hopefully he just ruined Order of the Phoenix. Well, gonna get ready and all for tonight…it’s gonna be a big night! YAY!

Gotta find my Uno…so we wouldn’t get bored while waiting in line.

July 11, 09 I should blog/update…?

This past week I have trying to relax. During the past semesters at school, I have been very stressed out. I couldn’t do the things I like to do such as sitting in my room by the window, listening to music while reading. That is my ideal way of relaxing. Thus, I still haven’t done anything to update the sites I work on and stuff like that.

I know the HP cast went to couple of premieres already, yet I haven’t uploaded any images at all! Shame on me. I have been really lazy and isn’t feeling the internet at the moment. Maybe I grew a little bit out of it? So I am just gonna take a little break from internet affairs for maybe a week.

On the other hand…I have been reading Half-Blood Prince at the moment…so I am gonna continue right now. =]

I want a new job! Bath and Body Works has been so slow lately…I only get to work 3 hours a week…any tips as to where I can find a new job? I still have some credit card debts I gotta pay hahaha. I just keep doing all those online shopping! It’s so sad…I really gotta get a new job. Now that I have cleaned bathrooms, mobbed floors, take care of garbage, & other craps from B&B Works, I think I can take up any type of jobs. Within the 3 short hours, I have to do 10 different crappy things…with a low paycheck…so why not work somewhere else that offers me more hours?

GRRRRRR.
