OMG! The original YUI is back!

I thought YUI’s music has been going a bit downhill since “SUMMER SONG” and I didn’t like her latest released single, “I’ll Be” as much as I wanted to. I loved her debut album. All of her songs were original and so perfect. She was a rookie back then and wasn’t affected by the media. However, I thought YUI was so pressured by fame that she couldn’t write music as she did when she first debuted. But then, after this long break that she took, I think she’s finally back. The PV for her soon-to-be released single, “again” is released! This song is used for the opening for Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

I was shivering when I watched this PV. It feels like the original YUI is back. The one that is not affected by the media and “gone commercial.” Please watch! You’ve gotta break the barrier and listen to this song….especially if you are a alternative music fan. YUI writes her own lyrics and music and she usually does her own arrangement and she’s only 22! I thought I wasn’t gonna buy her single since it’s so expensive for only 2 new songs…but I think I have changed my mind.

On the other hand, I still haven’t watch Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood yet…I haven’t got time to search for the subs yet…hopefully some subbing team did sub, I am sure they did…since IT’S FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST, BABY! Gonna watch all the animes that I missed after the finals…omg, the exams.

April 25, 09 Half-Blood Prince Premiere Dates!

According the SnitchSeeker, the world premiere for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is going to be in Japan and is set to be on July 6th. The London premiere is going to take place on July 7th, with the New York premiere on July 8th.

I knew it was gonna be in NY! I mean, the Order of the Phoenix premiere was in LA! Oh man, now I am not sure if I can go…=[ Unless I can really convince my parents to let me go to New York…which is impossible. Gosh, I never been to a HP premiere before and now that I have the freedom, I really want to go! But New York is on the other side of the United States! Oh man…

April 24, 09 Empire Features HP…new wallpaper

Empire magazine is featuring Harry Potter as their feature story and basically Dan Radcliffe and HP producer David Heyman gave out some valuable info regarding Deathly Hallows films. On the other hand, Empire released some a new image of the trio…as themselves. I am so glad that they put Emma closer to Rupert in this photoshoot. If you guys remember, during Goblet of Fire, there was this beautiful photoshoot for Teen Vogue and they kept putting Emma next to Dan because they are “prettier together.” It’s so ridiculous. Anyway, so glad they reflect the book this time, regardless of whether Rup looks good with Em or not. I think they look awesome together, though. Don’t you?

I personally don’t like this photoshoot as much as I loved the Teen Vogue one (if you look at my wallpapers, under “HP cast”, the image used for the wallpaper is from the Teen Vogue shoot). They simply looked so fashionable and lovely. This one is pretty causal, but I am glad they got together for this photoshoot though.

I made a wallpaper out of the one and only untagged MQ image. =] Hopefully more outtakes will be revealed…in HQ.

What do you say about a new layout? Hmmm…I actually love the current layout that I didn’t think about changing it anytime soon…but I might after finals are over. =]

April 22, 09 Two new Half-Blood Prince Images!

Warner Bros. just released two new official stills from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Both of them contains Dumbledore and Harry.

I don’t know, after the behind-the-scenes images from Deathly Hallows, the excitement isn’t as big as the last movie!!! OMG! I CAN’T WAIT TILL HALF-BLOOD PRINCE COMES OUT IN THEATERS!

April 22, 09 Deathly Hallows Behind-the-Scenes!

I uploaded almost 200 images from the shooting of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 to the gallery last night. HP fans should have seen some of these already…it was released early yesterday. You can see the trio filming the flight from the wedding scene in London. They look stunning! I love Hermione’s red dress!!! Dan and Rup looks hot in the suits, too.

If Clemence is not in the movie (yet…?), I guess they haven’t film the wedding scene yet, ’cause all the other Weasley’s weren’t there…I really hope Clemence is gonna be in the movie!!!

April 18, 09 Half-Blood Prince Official Images Overload

I have been waiting for this day for a lonnggggg time. Warner Bros. has finally released a large batch of HQ official images from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. These stills are all from the 5th HBP trailer. There are 15 new stills, so check them out in the gallery. =] Some previews below.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the image of Draco! I think it’s the first time in a long time that Tom Felton looks hot in a pic! Thank goodness WB is giving him screen time.

On the other hand, the picture with Dumbledore and the fire is soooooo much like the image in one of the cover of the Half-Blood Prince book! Wasn’t there a image in the book (US or UK version…?) that has Dumbledore fighting the inferi with fire? Sir Michael Gambon totally did justice in that shot. =]

Then there’s also this one image with the Hogwarts students pointing their wand in the sky. What is that about? I was speculating that it’s a monument for Dumbledore.

Anyway, back to homework. Enjoy the pix!

April 17, 09 New Naruto Shippuden Opening!

Well, let me first clarify that I haven’t watch the anime, Naruto, ever since they got into this current filler arc (fillers, not actual storyline plots)…since filler are usually very dull. Anyway, so today, I logged onto dattebayo for Bleach 215 (Bleach is on a stupid filler arc right now, too) when I saw that DB posted this “Naruto Shippuuden 103-104 OP-ED“…then I thought to myself…”Hmm, they must have ended the filler arc! Or at least they changed the opening and ending themes to the overused ‘CLOSER’ by Joe Inoue.” So of course, I downloaded the torrent without a clue to what I am gonna see or hear.

So…the opening…I heard a female voice and thought “Ahh, female Naruto openings have never been that great with the exception Ikimono Gakari’s ‘BLUE BIRD’.” Anyway…continue to listen to the opening and though, again, “Hey, this girl’s voice sounds familiar.” Then I thought…”OMG IT’S KIYOE’S (of Ikimono Gakari) VOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” I was so sure of it but then I didn’t hear the usual harmonica from Hotaka…so I wasn’t sure until I read that the song is by “いきものがかり”…thank goodness I can read hiragana nowadays…so YAY!

Let me tell you, I am a pretty big fan of Ikimono Gakari, so I was very happy to see that they are doing another opening for Naruto Shippuden. But it was a surprise because they just recently did “BLUE BIRD” for Naruto and the song was just the opening theme to the previous filler arc. So yeah…a pleasant surprise. ホタルノヒカリ or Hotaru no Hikari is growing on me now…I don’t like it as much as BLUE BIRD, but I only listened to this song once…so can’t really judge yet.
