| January 31, 09 | Ayumi Hamasaki Dominates! MUWHAHA |
|
(The song clip does not reflect the video) Just now I was searching for some info for my fave J-Pop singer, ayumi hamasaki’s new 45th single called, Rule/Sparkle when I found out that one of the a-side song entitled, “Rule” is being used as the theme song for an upcoming live-action version of the popular anime, Dragonball and the movie was gonna called, Dragonball Evolution. This film is going to be released in the US since Fox is behind it and the actors are American…Anyway, Ayu’s song will be released internationally…which is SUPER SPECIAL AWESOME!!! Even though Ayu is pretty much the biggest star of Japan, I still think there aren’t enough people in the US or anywhere in the western countries that know her. So I think it’s a great opportunity for her to breaking to US music industry, ’cause I seriously want to see her have a concert here in the US. Anyway, speaking of Dragonball Z…the reason that I don’t know about this news until now is because I was never a fan of Dragonball. I remember watching couple of episodes with my boy-cousins when I was young. I didn’t understand it quite well and I just didn’t like it all that much. I thought about watching it from the start again when I had time…but I never knew there was gonna be a movie…and English adaptation live-action movie. I mean, I always imagine the characters to be Japanese, if they were ever live-action, but OMG, this movie is filled with English actors! I realized that Emmy Rossum from one of my fave film, The Phantom of the Opera is gonna be in it! I was actually surprised that Emmy would actually play this sort of role…I guess she’s just taking up challenges, so that’s good for her. I really want to see how these English people will pull it off playing some Japanese characters. I also want to see how the people will react to ayumi hamasaki theme song. So in other words, even though I am not a fan of Dragonball, I am a fan of ayu (obviously) and Emmy…so I am going to watch the movie when it comes out in April of this year. Anyway, the above video is a song preview of Rule. I have to say, Ayu haven’t done any dance-beat song since her GUILTY album, so it is nice to see her doing upbeat stuff again. Do note that the video and the song doesn’t not match ’cause Ayu still haven’t perform this song live yet. Also, I found out that Ayu is going to release a digital single in the US!  Okay, you might be wondering why I am ranting on this…well…I THOUGHT THIS YEAR TOHOSHINKI’S ALBUM CAN TOTALLY TOP THE #1 SPOT ON THE ORICON CHARTS (Japanese music charts) ‘CAUSE OF THEIR RISING FAME IN JAPAN BUT THEN OUT POPS BoA! But noooo, BoA decides to release a best of album that includes her upcoming BoA album that’s gonna be released in the United States. I was gonna buy her album here in the US at Wal-Mart or something…but now? Taking TOHOSHINKI’s spot in Japan? GRRR YOU BoA! I am totally boycotting her BEST&USA album muwhahaha…okay, I admit that I will buy her BoA album in the US…I mean, come on now, BoA+DBSK=friends! So why the hell knock DBSK off the charts? We all know she’ll knock the boys off the charts, ’cause, duh, she’s BoA. 70% of the population don’t know her in the US, but she has like, 90% of the Japanese fans under her command. And TOHOSHINKI is just starting to shine in Japan…but out comes BoA. DAMN. And I was excited to see the album cover and all but then I saw the release date. XD more, more, more… |

Yeah, I know I am a date late in writing a “Chinese New Year” post (it was yesterday) but since CNY lasts for 15 days…I am not really late. So Happy Chinese New Year! Hope everybody have a great and happy Ox year. So yeah…didn’t receive that much money at the moment ’cause I didn’t get to go out to Asian places due to the fact that I was at school yesterday. XD Teehee. On the other hand, happy belated birthday to Hero JaeJoong from DBSK! He turned 23 yesterday…like I said, I wanted to make this post yesterday but I was busy with homework. I can’t believe I have so much stuff to do… I still have friggin’ homework for all five of my classes…the homework that I am dreading is two Java assignments…I haven’t started on them yet! I also have this writing project for my English class, which is stupid…but yeah. When I have time to breathe, I am going to make more graphics…but first I gotta work on Stephanie’s order (Sorry Stephanie, I have been really busy)! So I am gonna try to finish my homework tonight A.S.A.P.! Oh! Also, a new MQ of Professor McGonagall from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince came out. Thanks to MuggleNet for the link!  |

So…the rumors have been confirmed…Dakota Fanning is being considered as Jane in the new Twilight movie, New Moon. I think she would do awesome on the role and she will actually boost up New Moon’s box office sales…since Dakota is such a huge star and all. She is like, bigger than even Rob Pattinson, although of course, fans go for Rob nowadays. =] Anyway, I never really imagined her to be Jane…but it would be great to see how she’ll pull it off. I mean, she’s gonna play a villain and I don’t think she has ever played a villain in the many films she has been in. Anyway, I just noticed that there’s quite a lot of Korean in the university that I go to. It’s like, everywhere. Why do I know that they are Koreans? Well, they friggin’ only speak Korean. Seriously, only the Koreans speak their own language in public…well, I mean people my age. I don’t even know if there are any Japanese that goes to my school…’cause all of the other Asians speak English. I know Chinese just speak English unless they are very Asian…when they are in a group. So what’s up with the Koreans only speaking in Korean? Anyway, I was just wondering. If this blog doesn’t make sense…that’s because I just been to a 10-hour Saturday class for Nevada political science/history. Ahhh…the pain. I was so sleepy and had a headache. Big Bang’s helping me ease the pain right now (I’m listening to “We Belong Together”)…ahhh…I just love G Dragon…so effing talented. Anyway, I just got back from a little C-Pop concert (Leehom Wang)…the funny thing is that I don’t listen to C-Pop at all (It’s all about J-Pop and now K-Pop, too)…so yeah, was cool…I’m totally deaf now ’cause I was pretty close to the stage and the amps. Got an autograph though, so that’s way cool. I mean, he is famous, no? DAMN I WOULD PAY $1000 TO MEET YUNHO AND G DRAGON AND GET THEIR AUTOGRAPHS!!! |

Thanks so much to Tanvi for letting me know…the new exclusive Japanese Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince trailer is finally out!!! It’s awesome and in the beginning, Dan Radcliffe greets the Japanese audience in Japanese! He said the simple… ã“ã‚“ã«ã¡ã‚。Daniel Radcliffe ã§ã™ã€‚ (Hello. I am Daniel Radcliffe.) I think it’s cool. I know a bit of Japanese so basically the narrator is saying that the trailer is a “premiere” for Japan and briefly explains what the story is about. In the end, the narrator says…”the sixth movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (That’s all I got from my Japanese knowledge hahaha). Awesome trailer, eh? I love it! Can’t wait for the movie. You know what, none of my friends are Harry Potter fans (they are all “Twilight” fans…blah) so even if that’s the case, I am going to go to the premiere in LA no matter what…even if I have to go alone. XD |

Yay! Vman released some outtakes from the Twilight guys’ photoshoot from last year. I have to say that the pictures looks so awesome! Anyway, I am so glad that there’s more images of Taylor Lautner, ’cause that guy just don’t get enough of photoshoots. Maybe more graphics of Taylor coming up soon…?
