New Gallery Layout

Since I had been saying for a while about a new layout for the main site and haven’t been able to make one due to school (earlier December) and now, work, I decided to just whip up a new gallery layout. Actually, the gallery layout’s coding took longer than it would take me to make a layout for the main site. You see, coppermine can be a bit confusing. Anyway, everything is done and I am satisfy with it. I have also changed the thumbnails’ resolution to 100×140 so that the previews looks nicer, take a look by clicking below. =]

As you can see, the layout features the DBSK boys from the Singles magazine. I call this one, DBSK: Singles…double meaning guys. They are supposingly single (you’d never know with celebs, eh?) and since this is a photoshoot for a magazine called Singles…Geez, is this magazine about single boys? Hmm…anyway.

Anyway, made some graphics out of the same image…I don’t like wasting stuff teehee. Updated with signatures, avatars, & bookmarks. I might make a wallpaper later tomorrow or something, but right now it’s pretty late (1:25AM).

So, I am planning to have a new layout up by the first week of January. I have the vision already planned out in my head. The layout is going to feature Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart somehow…so no, it’s not going to be DBSK-related. Sorry guys, I have been throwing DBSK graphics your way for the past couple weeks heehee but I can’t help it.

On a side note, Korea should be airing the Big Bang Shin Ki special on Gayo Daejun! I can’t wait for someone to sub it, it’s gonna be the best. I mean, it’s not everyday that DBSK and Big Bang performs together, eh? Then on Tuesday DBSK will fly to Japan to do the Red/White team thingy! WEEE. Youtube can rock sometimes (when they don’t delete your account). =]

December 27, 08 Two new photoshoot images!

The Twilight casts’ infamous Vanity Fair photoshoot just released two new outtakes! One of them is especially funny and the other one is so beautiful I don’t see why they became outtakes. The two outtakes are just of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Anyway, I am planning on using the Vanity Fair photoshoot images for my next layout. However, I am just 80% sure of using these. I will start playing around with the photos after I catch up with some Pokemon Battle Dimension. K? Previews below.

Anyway, maybe I will have a new layout up in time for New Year! Geez, I just checked my schedule and found out I gotta work tomorrow! I already signed up for unavailable on Sundays but they still have me in for tomorrow…grrrr…well, for the money, for the money!

December 24, 08 Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa…and any other holiday! Well, tomorrow is Christmas (although my family is not doing anything for Christmas)! So I am wishing you all a wonderful time with your family. =]

Also, how about a holiday laugh?…Watch this little three year old dance to “MIROTIC” lol.

So yeah, I have been trying to sit down and make a layout but I haven’t had any time at all! =[ I have been working since last week and I thought I would get a lot of time off during break, but instead, I am more worn out than I would normally be during school. Grrr. Anyway, maybe I will do so this coming weekend, if I am not too tired.

December 19, 08 YAY! I am “Woman of the Year”!

Okay, well, a group of us is, and I am part of it. Anyway, MTV has named the Twilighters “Women of the Year 2008.” There’s a video that came with it and you can view it below! I am in it so that makes me “woman of the year,” no?

December 19, 08 New Jacob Black?

Rumors has been flying that actor Michael Copon might replace Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black in the upcoming Twilight sequel, New Moon. Hollywood Wire chatted with Michael Copon about the possibility of replacing Taylor in the following video. Watch below.

First of all, yes, I agree that Taylor will not get big enough in time for the role but, who the hell cares? I think he plays an awesome Jacob. I know, there are some people who didn’t like Taylor for some reason, but come on, I met him in person and he is very sweet and very hot. He is very much like the Jacob that I imagined in the Twilight series. Well, the younger version, but I know he can pull it off if he is given the chance to reprise his role as Jacob. I mean come on now, he got almost as much screaming fangirls as Rob. He was the second most popular cast in the current lineup for Twilight.

Now, this Michael Coupon (Ha) person is such a joke. Okay, I have never seen any movies by him before and my friends and I just googled yesterday for this guy to see if he’s hot. My friends think he is pretty hot but I think he is just okay. Part of the hot category, but I like Taylor more. Anyway, in the video, he seems cocky to me for some reason. Also, I seriously hate his voice. What’s up with his voice? Not a hot voice. Anyway, isn’t he like, 28 years old? Okay, I know Jacob would look 28 by the time he turns into a wolf, but I still think he’s just too old. Although I do have to give him props for being able to use chopsticks.

Bottom line, KEEP TAYLOR LAUTNER!!! Taylor is an awesome Jacob and people just didn’t like him because he was “Shark boy” in the Shark boy movie, which I had never seen, maybe that’s why I like him. I think people should let go and give him a chance to play other characters. It’s just like giving a chance to Dan Radcliffe to play a non-Harry Potter role.

December 15, 08 DBSK media update

Ha ha ha. I know, I promised to make some Twilight and Harry Potter graphics last weekend but instead of that…I was busy but I did spent couple of hours making some more DBSK graphics. I used the scans from the new limited edition 2009 calendar (which I bought)…I think the pictures are lovely and just hard to not do anything to it. Thus, I made some wallpapers, bookmarks, avatars, and signatures/blends. Previews below. =]

It took me hours to make the following wallpapers, especially the Jaejoong and Yunho solo wallpapers. I am still working on my cutting skills so…it took me an hour to cut each out…especially Yunho’s hair! Dude, I love his new hairstyle and all, but JJ’s hair was easier to cut out than Yunho’s lol. December 13, 08 Why Twilight Isn’t For Everyone

I had always said to my buddies that I think it’s weird that kids in middle school, even in elementary schools, reads the Twilight Saga. I first came to realize this (that kids read the series) was when I was at the Breaking Dawn midnight release party. Most of the people at the Borders that my friend and I went to was mostly 11 to 12 years old. Which was pretty freaky ’cause only my friends and I am college kids. Anyway, after I got home with the book and start reading it, I thought it more inappropriate for kids to read. Come on now, in the book, Bella begs for sex…do you want your kid sister begging for sex after reading the book? Yeah, kids who read about the “sex” part thought it was “gross,” but come on now, you can’t completely believe them now, can you? I can guarantee you that they can almost be curious.

Anyway, the reason I brought this up was because of an article LA Times posted, “Why Twilight Isn’t For Everyone.” In the article, they asked 10-11 years old to write why they think Twilight is inappropriate and why they like the series. Look at this response…

“I think [the Twilight books] are inappropriate for kids under 10 because there are a ton of kissing parts and some sexual parts, that kids under 10 would think were gross, instead of appreciating the beauty and uniqueness of the love between Bella and Edward. I love everything about the series, but what stands out most to me is the unique personalities of all the characters. It’s amazing to me that Stephenie Meyer could start from scratch and create all of these amazing, grasping characters. It’s hard for me to face the fact that they are not real.” — 10 Year Old

As you can see, they know what’s going on, even though they said “were gross.” I think the Twilight series, especially Breaking Dawn should not be read by little kids until they are at least teenagers and are mature enough. Yeah, some of these kids say that they are mature enough, ha ha. Come on now, their brains are still developing, and the books can help shape them a bit. The good thing about the book is that Bella and Edward are married before they do anything…so I hope the kids pick that up before jumping right into the “begging for sex” thing. I am worried about those kids.

December 10, 08 DBSK/TVXQ MIROTIC -clean version-…my take

OMG! DBSK’s “MIROTIC -clean version” preview came out today. I think the boys sounds great but then the lyrics are ridiculous. Okay, so here’s what happened…some Korean Youth counsel thingy think that the lyrics to the (f**king awesome) song, “MIROTIC” contains inappropriate lyrics (meaning, a bit sexual) so they were banning the song from radio play or live performance (no!!!). However, SM Entertainment, the company the manages the DBSK boys sued them and all but the Youth group still wants a clean version of the song. Well, the DBSK fans got a preview of the “clean version” today, and a lot of us are thinking the lyrics are a bit ridiculous. ‘Cause first of all, the original lyrics aren’t that sexual. I mean, compared to Rain’s “magic stick,” DBSK “under my skin” is like, not sexual at all. Geez, those Youth group thingy gotta take a chill pill.

Oh yeah, congrats to DBSK for winning the all those Golden Disk Awards!!! TVXQ, fighting!

Oh btw, I am gonna try to convert as many people to become DBSK fans as possible. Teehee. So I am gonna give you a DBSK lesson. First lesson…DBSK and TVXQ are the same band. Just different pronunciation. “DBSK” is commonly used by the fans while “TVXQ” are their official abbreviation. Their real name is “Tong Vfang Xien Qi,” thus the “TVXQ.” For the fans, their name is “Dong Bang Shin Ki,” that’s how we got “DBSK.” Although some fans uses “DBSG,” which is the abbreviation for “Dong Bang Shin Gi.” Weird, eh? Well, that’s not all, since DBSK is also active in Japan (they are a Korean band), their Japanese name is “TOHOSHINKI.” The name means “Rising God of the East.” They are such a great vocal group. They can really sing and man, they are hot too. Well, I personally think two of the members are hot ::ahem::Yunho::ahem::Jaejoong:: but apparently each of the members have a huge fan base behind them.

EDIT: Harry Potter’s Beedle the Bard is now the bestselling book of the year 2008! Beedle totally knocked Stephenie Meyer’s Breaking Dawn off the bestselling charts! HECK YEAH! I hate how people kept saying, “Harry Potter is so last year.” Well guess what dudes? Harry Potter’s back! Jo is kicking some BD arses. HEH.
