A new Half-Blood Prince image

Thanks to SnitchSeeker, we all have a new image of Harry, Ron, and Ginny laughing at the Burrow from the upcoming movie (which is coming out next summer), Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The image is LQ but at least we are getting something new. I really hope WB will release some HQs for us soon (after what they threw at us)! We also got a HQ of the picture of Harry and Draco Malfoy from the EW feature.

August 30, 08 Midnight Sun…not publishing???!!!

As many of you Twilight fans would have heard by now. Stephenie Meyer’s Midnight Sun’s initial twelve chapters were posted illegally online yesterday or a day ago. Midnight Sun, for those of you who don’t know, MS is Twilight in Edward’s prospective. After Breaking Dawn, fans have been anticipating for MS’s release date but SM announced yesterday that the book will not be published due to the fact that the unfinished chapters were posted online and has depressed her greatly. She felt that she can no longer write the book. You can read about her response on her official website.

Stephenie has also made the 12 chapters available for readers to read on her site, so that I won’t feel guilty for reading it later and save the time for me to google it.

But geez, I WANT THE PHYSICAL BOOK! I feel so sad that this event has struck SM so deeply and I hope she recovers soon and finishes up the book. I mean, even though us fans are able to read it now, we would definitely buy the book and go to midnight release parties for the book! Seriously. Real fans would go for the book even though we have read the first twelve chapters. I really hope she can settle down to finishing and then publishing the book one day. I don’t mind waiting; just as long as she finishes the book, it’s all good. I don’t mind waiting 10 years for the book! FEEL BETTER, STEPHENIE!!!

So, who is sad from this news? I know we get to have MS right now, but somehow the way we get to have it, it’s just not right. I really want the physical book. Anyway, you can read the chapters here. Enjoy. butiseriouslywantthephysicalbook…

Also, some more recent Twilight news (or rather olds), the cast has returned to set to reshoot some scenes. EW.com has also posted some details as to what was shot. Thanks to everglow for this piece of news!

Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke confirms to EW.com that sheâ€™s currently overseeing reshoots on her adaptation of Stephenie Meyerâ€™s book (now opening Nov. 21). â€œItâ€™s pretty cool,â€ Hardwicke e-mails from Pasadena, Calif., where sheâ€™s filming the new material. â€œWe got to shoot some things I really wanted.â€ While reshoots often hint that there may be a problem with a movie, that doesnâ€™t appear to be the case with Twilight, whose initial 44-day Oregon production faced multiple weather-related difficulties.

Thus, a few key aspects of the production are getting further attention. One redone scene shows Edward (Robert Pattinson) playing Bellaâ€™s lullaby. During the movieâ€™s initial shoot, Pattinson performed the scene while improvising with his own music; now heâ€™s playing the actual song, which has been written by veteran film composer Carter Burwell (best known for working with the Coen brothers). â€œ[Pattinson] is a great pianist, long vampire fingers,â€ Hardwicke says. And if that doesnâ€™t whet your appetite, Hardwicke also reshot the bedroom kissing scene on Thursday. The first time around, Kristen Stewart, the actress who plays Bella, was still 17, and between juggling three hours of school work per day plus numerous camera setups, the scene was never finished. Hardwicke also shot a few new scenes: more of Jacob, more on the Cullensâ€™ backstory, and more footage in the meadow. Says the director, â€œItâ€™s all just icing on the cake.â€

August 25, 08 Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone 10th Anniversary…

So, MuggleNet is having us fans send in our “story” about Harry Potter for the upcoming tenth anniversary of Sorcerer’s Stone. Below is my entry about how this whole Harry Potter thing started for me.

August 21, 08 New HQ Image of Dumbledore

Images from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is coming in very slowly. Today, we have only one new HQ picture and it is one with Sir Michael Gambon as Professor Dumbledore standing in the Great Hall, wearing glasses (I know, run-on sentence). It’s a pretty interesting picture, I guess, but I want more!!!

Well, it’s my birthday baby! I am officially nineteen. Emotion? Hmm…I am pretty emo-less at the moment. Don’t really feel a difference. Maybe later? Damn, two more years and I can gamble and drink. August 17, 08 Update…actually bloggin’ this time…

There’s a very high quality and up-close video of the Twilight cast at Comic-Con ‘08. You can view the video on this dude’s page. He apparently filmed the whole thing very up close. I think he might be press guy or something.

On the other hand, Naruto Shippuden’s filler arc has finally ended last Thursday! YAY! I usually watch the episodes on Saturday night even though I download it on Thursday. But anyway, the stupid filler arc has finally ended and then they are about to enter what I like to call, the “Hidan Arc” or the “Farewell to Asuma Arc”. So yeah, next week is gonna be full of action.

OMG, one more week and I will be in college. Freshman year. AHHH. I am freaking out. I don’t wanna go, I don’t wanna go! People kept saying that college rocks but I am afraid. AHHH. ‘Cause there are also people who said that there’s a lot of studying. Dude. I suck at studying. Seriously. Am I gonna survive college? Anybody got a Survive Your Freshman Year in College 101? I just wanna sit at home and read HP and learn more about web-building.

Speaking of college. Do I really need to bring a laptop to school? I currently have one desktop and two laptops; one of the laptop is a very old Sony VAIO, which I gave to my brother since he’s learning how to play learning games on it. The other laptop I just got in June and is a Dell. I am using it right now. I call this laptop my room’s computer ’cause that’s where I use it. You see, I don’t want to lose my room’s computer ’cause I tend to check on updates before I go to sleep every night. However, if college is requiring a laptop, then I won’t have a room’s computer anymore! NO!!! So I am thinking of getting another laptop. Like a very cheap one. Doesn’t have to be nice. I know I am gonna drop it all the time if I bring it to school, so I want to get a cheap one to bring to school. Any suggestions as to where you can find cheap laptops? I usually buy stuff online, so maybe if you know any online stores that sells cheap but pretty good computers, tell me!

Well dudes, tonight, midnight, I will turn 19! OMG, I will be 20 next year! How freaky! I still feel like a kid. Well, a much more mature kid I guess. So guys, don’t forget those presents!

EDIT: I just found out that Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) sings. Haha. Yeah, I haven’t been doing any follow-ups on him since Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, so I didn’t know he started singing. I was just reading this new interview that Scholastic had with him and it gave me the link to his YouTube. He is pretty good, too! He goes under the name of Feltbeats and can be found on iTunes. You should check out his stuff…wow.

August 16, 08 New Layout

I know once college starts, I wouldn’t have time to make layouts and wouldn’t be able to learn how to make layouts and stuff. So, I sat myself down and…I experimented with a flash layout! This is my first flash layout and second layout that I made total. I haven’t got that many experience doing layouts, so please comment! Give me comments, suggestions, tips, and what you think! I would truly appreciate them. =]
