SO…SMTOWN 2010 is the best concert I have ever been to…mainly because of TVXQ, Super Junior, SHINee, and (okay, even though I am not a Sone) SNSD. And nope, I did not forget about BoA; she was awesome but nowadays, K-Pop GROUPS are all the fans care about so the cheers were mainly for those three groups. I know I haven’t written anything for a while, so today (or rather, tonight) I am going to give you guys the main awesomeness of the concert.

Anyway, the concert started around 7-ish PM with J-Min who I didn’t know who she was when she went on stage with an acoustic guitar (this girl can sing and play at the same time…real talented) but then I remember reading her name somewhere. Anyway, she sang two numbers and spoke some pretty good English for a non-English speaker. She said she was honored to open for SMTOWN and all. Pretty good perf; the cheers were pretty appreciative.

Then The Grace’s Sunday went on stage to do a solo number…I think SM has shunned The Grace aside for too long because nobody knew who she was so therefore, the cheers for her was just plain polite…I guess there are few Sunday/The Grace fans out there in the crowd, but we didn’t really hear them. Anyway, after Sunday, The Grace’s Dana goes on stage and does her own solo. I don’t know about her…she does have a decent voice but I think she just haven’t sung Korean for a long time thus her voice was a bit shaky here and there. However, when she did a duet stage with fellow member Sunday, they harmonized really well. But yeah, people sitting in front of me were like, “Who are they?” I wanted to shout “They are from The Grace, geez!”

Next up was…f(x) minus Amber…which makes me not cheer so loud for them ‘cause the reason I listen to f(x) is mainly because of Amber’s rap…but then I love Victoria’s personality and Luna’s big voice…okay, I just simply dislike Sulli and Krystal for their arrogance. Anyway, their stage was pretty awesome, just like Music Bank, MuCore, Inkigayo, etc. They did “La Cha Ta” and then Krystal introduced her sister (like we don’t know who she is) Jessica in English and they did friggin’ Ke$ha’s “Tik Tok” which I thought KEY was supposed to do judging from their SMTOWN concert in Seoul…anyway, it was decent but of all songs, why Ke$ha’s? Friggin’ Krystal (gahh) sang about drinking beer when she’s friggin’ underage…not good for the young audience eh? Anyway, f(x) comes back on stage and sang “Chu.” Then they had MINHO do Amber’s part!!! We were all like, “OMG IT’S MINHO <3333!” Then they did an intro with Victoria saying “Hi” to the Chinese fans in…well, Chinese…or, Mandarin…but omg, I understood her. Weeee…she’s so sweet. Anyway, their height is average even though they appear bigger on TV.

Up next was Zhang Yi Lin and she did her Korean song and her new Chinese song that was released…earlier this year? Anyway, she has a very lovely voice and the fans were just politely cheering for her ‘cause we are waiting for the boys!

After that, Kangta got on stage and the cheer for him was louder than the other solo artists but I think he definitely lost a lot of fanbase after he went to the army. Plus, a lot of his fans are now married so they don’t really have time for concerts, right? Besides, married ladies are now rooting for TVXQ and Super Junior so poor H.O.T days are over…poor Kangta. Anyway, he does a ballad then he does a duet with Ara (forgot her last name) who was in the drama “Heading to the Ground” with Yunho. Anyway, during the performance, ONEW makes a appearance!!! We all went nuts! It’s kinda sad for Kangta since the cheer for him when he showed up wasn’t as loud as the mini appearance from Onew. Anyway, Onew was pretending to ask Ara if the bag he found belongs to her…after she said no he leaves the stage…funny, but omg, Onew <3333

After that, the real show begins (sorry Kangta)! SHINee takes over the stage with their bright concept they had when they first debuted. They did “Stand By Me” which was the OST sound for Boys Over Flowers and I totally took out my SHINee light blue lightstick and sang along…the crowd went nuts when they got on stage so anyway, it was so much fun to see them! They are pretty tall…like, umm, average white kids’ height. THEN: They sang “Noona is so Pretty (Replay)”!!! Of course the noonas went crazier than before when they heard the first beats of the song (myself, included). Taemin shows us show awesome dance moves and I love his relaxed hair with this concept…the “LUCIFER” hairstyle is simply too long for him…Then they did “Juliet”…anyway, after that Onew does some intro in Korean…and the funny thing is…I FRIGGIN’ UNDERSTOOD HIM TOO! Well, I guess I get the idea on what he was saying ‘cause I watch too many K-dramas and idol interviews/shows. Anyway, then Key does his intro in ENGLISH. LIKE OMG! It’s true that Key’s the only one that knows English (referring to him writing in English in Hello Baby). He’s English is pretty good…I wanna have a convo with him. XD But I thought Onew can speak English too! He said that English was his best subject at school but we didn’t get to hear him speak English at all…=[ But anyway, they were the first group to use the full stage, not just the main stage but also the walkway and the stage extended from the catwalk, so it was super awesome.

The Trax took over the stage. They performed the last two songs…the first was the song they had their MV featured Heechul and Victoria…I forgot the name of the song, oops, even though I have the CD. Hehe. Well, Trax is cool but yeah…but yeah, the crowd kinda died down a little bit after the SHINee excitement. Anyway, the bassist look so friggin’ hot with white blond hair that looks quite similar to hairstyle that G-Dragon had last year…gosh, ever since GD, I have been falling for Korean guys with bleach blond hair (I mean, idols, not real life people).

Then Taemin provided the piano for a girl singer named Kim something and we were cheering like crazy whenever his face appears on the screen. He looks like a little pianist prodigy with his innocent looks. XD SO CUTE!

Zhoumi from Super Junior M and f(Luna) went for a duet stage next…it was nice but we were all rooting for Zhoumi…the cheers were quite unfair compared to Luna’s. But yeah, up to then, there wasn’t any peeks of Suju members at all and the concert was already about an hour and a half in.

As if Zhoumi wasn’t enough, Henry from Suju M starts playing an electronic violin to rock background. We were cheering like crazy too! Well, not when you compare to when Heechul comes on stage. IT WENT WILD! You know how Heenim always does a rock number with some rock members? Well, here he goes again…and guess what? HE KISSES HENRY!!! WE WENT CRAZY, WILD, YOU NAME IT! I have it on video teehee…so I can’t wait to re-watch it. WHOA! I saw Heenim kiss Henry live! Dang, he has more Suju members kissed on his list hahaha. I think this stage also included Jay from The Trax but we were blinded by Heechul’s charisma.

GameKyu and Girls’ Generation Seohyun (who jacked one of my husbands, Yonghwa) went on stage to do a duet and held hands (are you cheating on your husband now?) and I was like, “NOOOOO! Don’t touch my Kyuhyun!” Then Jjongie Jonghyun did a duet with Suju’s Yesung on one of SHINee’s song…I think. I gotta watch the video (if I recorded any) to make sure…there were too many perfs to keep track of, which is awesome.

Then the Girls’ Generation tells the devil to “Run Devil Run” and the boys went crazy. Seriously, you can hear those deep male voices cheering them on. The Sones got half a section in the ground level that is right next to the stage which is kinda cool. I wanna join the TVXQ’s next time. Anyway, I sang along and did the dance…it was really cool. They do have a lot of charisma so even though I am not a Sone (I am just a Blackjack when it comes to girl groups) I cheered and sang along. The girls look normal size…they do appear taller on TV. I would say Jessica is an inch or two taller than me…and Sooyoung doesn’t look super tall compared to the girls when they were all next to each other. Then they took off their black “devil” outfits after Tiffany does some English intro while Taeyeon does the Korean intros. They were wearing these plaid skirts and black tops that says “Girls’ Generation” and sang to “Kissing you” which I only heard once ‘cause I only started listening to them when “Gee” came out. Anyway, they left the stage to Suju + M.

Super Junior plus their M members Zhoumi and Henry performed the Korean version of “Super Girl” together and then the crowd went crazyyyy, once again. I think the majority of fans there were Suju fans ‘cause there were a lot of sapphire pearl light sticks floating around (I have one too!). Then after that, the M members left and the Suju members to do “No Other” which is a “still new” song so we went nuts. They used the whole stage and some came to the my side (left) to wave at us. I waved like crazy back to them even though I know they can’t see a thing with the spotlight in their face (I have delivered speeches with spotlights on my face and basically it makes me think I am speaking to a non-existence crowd…). They also did “BONAMANA” on the same stage…I think. Anyway, they appear on stage doing a number of their old songs randomly so I kinda lost count of the order. They overall did “Man in Love,” remix of “SORRY SORRY,” “U,” and “Don’t Don.”

Then BoA came on stage and did one of her old Korean songs (I don’t really know her Korean songs since I only listen to her J-Pop stuff) and then did her American-released song, “I Did it for Love” with KEY!!! Almight Key did Sean P.’s part so perfectly! Damn, I seriously wanna know how his English got so good even though he decided to take a break between high school and college. Anyway, then BoA does her little introduction in English…and I thought her English would have gotten a lot better what with her twitters but apparently not…poor thing. She still have heavy accents and she pronounced “Staples Center” like “Steples” center…so in other words, Key’s English was better…poor thing, how is she gonna be in Step Up 4? I guess she doesn’t need to talk just as long as she can dance.

Suju went on stage for “Man in Love” and then SNSD did “Genie.” SHINee got back on stage with their darker concept and performed Quasimodo…which is soooooo beautiful! I used to think Onew’s voice is pretty good but hearing him live in real life just makes him so perfect! Then of course, Jjong always hits his notes perfectly. Then they went on to perform UP & DOWN…I think. I forgot the exact order, actually. Anyway, PRECTION. I LOVE SHINee more now. XD

Then the whole order repeats again. Suju comes on stage with…SORRY SORRY I think…remixed to the point that I don’t know how to sing along but it was a really cool remix. At first it was slow and then it eventually got back to its original mix’s tempo. Then SNSD came and did “Gee” and it was so much fun doing the “No, no, no” and “Gee, gee, gee” dance along with them. XD Then SHINee finally does “LUCIFER.” WE WENT NUTS AGAIN. You know how the reception for the LUCIFER comeback was like, crazy, right? Well, it’s crazy at the concert too…only x1000. Anyway, love, love, love them.

BoA comes back on stage but then the audio dudes messed up her back track…she was supposed to sing “Dangerous” but then the staff got “Energetic” playing in the background…she didn’t hear the music ‘cause of the earpieces so she started singing “Dangerous” to “Energetic” background…poor thing. So she started saying like, “oh, I can’t hear” and laughs it off and we try to reassure her and just cheer her on…I mean, it’s not her fault. Since she sang the words to “Dangerous” on the wrong background, that means she does live singing every time…so good for her. Then she said it’s her 10th anniversary so it’s especially special for her this year and then did her favorite ballad song…which I think I heard before but I can’t name it. Then she does sing to Energetic…which rocked.

Then I think SNSD got in to sing “Oh!” which seems to be the most popular song out of all the songs they sang at the concert ‘cause the crowd was cheering and singing along like crazy. Then BoA somehow fitted in with her “HURRICANE VENUS” which is as good as the perf on TV.

After that, it’s the moment we have all been waiting for since 2008. TVXQ’s STAGE!!! They had audio playing the background saying that TVXQ is still here…haven’t die kinda thing…but who cares? WE WERE CHEERING OUR HEADS OFF FOR CHANGMIN AND YUNHO!!! I think they had the most cheers out of all the groups that performed tonight…even though Super Junior beats them with the light stick thing…there just wasn’t as much people with red light sticks (but I am one of them that did have one)…anyway, their stage was saved for last (best for last, right?)…both of them were wearing white and were lifted up by wires in the middle of the stage…very AWESOME! They were just hanging there while the background music play along with that intro I mentioned earlier. Then they slowly descended and together they did a medley of their songs starting from “Rising Sun,” “O,” to “MIROTIC.” During the Mirotic stage, Yesung came on stage and did Jaejoong’s part, basically. Yunho kept his rap part while Changmin did Yoochun’s rap part and then they threw in Changmin’s “Yeahhhhhhhhhh” thing and we went head over heels. XD Then somehow they changed into darker clothing pretty quickly and then Changmin did a solo of his new solo song in his signature high pitch voice…gosh, I didn’t realize how much I missed his voice! Then Yunho comes on stage and does his own solo sexy dancing plus new solo piece. Then the both of them did a short version of “Purple Line” in Korean. Then they introduced themselves as “Dong Bang Shin Ki” (OMG!) and Yunho and Changmin totally did a “Wussup LA?!” thing…which was friggin’ hot. Then they left the stage.
Then Suju came out with “Don’t Don” (heh, get it?) and then in the middle of it, Heechul does the drum part while Jay did guitar (?) and CHANGMIN did vocals! It was amazing version of Don’t Don with his high pitch voice!!! So amazing.

Oh wait, then BoA does “HURRICANE VENUS” and then the concert wraps up with all the SM artists in white SMTOWN tees and sing their new SMTOWN 2010 song. Of course the SHINee boys does some funny things. Then it ticked me right off when Heenim kept sticking next to Sulli’s side…and totally held her hand! OMG! OPPA! WTF?! I hope you only think of her as dongseung ‘cause she’s friggin’ a decade younger than you Heenim! Anyway, more reasons to hate on Sulli hahaha. Anyway, Yunho and Changmin totally rocked and led the stage…pretty awesome stage with all the talented SM artists. Then they did their “thank you’s” in Korean in the far extended stage. Then they headed back towards the main stage. Shindong and Eunhyuk says goodbye to the audiences on my side and waves at us…without the spotlight on his face…so they can totally see us…! I totally jumped up & down and waved goodbye to them. Then Onew and Key did their round of goodbyes towards my side too so I jumped again and I think they totally saw this crazy noona waving goodbye ‘cause he waved back! So even though he can’t really see my face…it’s kinda cool to have a goodbye directed to me…or our crowd…from Onew and Key…so it’s pretty awesome. Then Onew did this “Komsaimeda” thing in different pitched voice…which was both cute and funny…I will count that as a Onew sangtae. XD A day is not complete without a Onew sangtae.

So, overall, great concert. I was seated up in the top row called the “VIP” spots…but still kinda far from the stage…so next time, totally gonna buy better tickets so I can actually touch them, hehehe. So gonna start saving up and get up early so I can get the good tickets! I got up late last time and the good front row seats were taken…so next, I am willing to pay $200 for the good seats. XD

Now I am loving SHINee and Suju more and totally missing my dear TVXQ.

Got my copy of MBLAQ and C.N.BLUE’s 2nd single/mini-album (respectively) last week! Been listening to MBLAQ’s single [Y] straight on ’cause it’s SO GOOD! Gosh, they have become my top fave K-Pop group. =]

Anyway, school started already…and there’s already a test coming up this Friday! So I better do some studying…later!

My G-Dragon Shine A Light DVD came!!! YIPPEE! Can’t wait to watch it! I got a Rated 15 & above version…which includes a bed scene…and bathtub!

I also got my 2PM Don’t Stop Can’t Stop CD w/ poster…and that is my hypocrite face for buying their CD…even though I say I will boycott them for a while…

Got my box set for Naruto Shippuden! =]

I also got my Lee Hyori’s H-Logic but I guess I forgot to upload the pic. Anyway, gotta go, still got a exam to take today…so I’m gonna do some studying.

Anyway, which one am I gonna get? Well, financially I say I get none of them because I have all of THSK’s albums already so if I buy these, it will just be a repeat of the things I already have. BUT, being a major Cassiopeia, I am gonna buy the box set that costs…oh just $150. Too too bad, eh? HEH. RIGHT. But I gotta support the boys and show them that they have a huge group of fangirls…and fanboys, who are behind them and supporting them, and want them to be together again! TVXQ is nothing with just 3 or 2 members! Anyway, I can’t buy it right now…seeing as I am broke. Ugh.

So, the bad part of the good part I mentioned earlier? Well, releasing a “greatest hits” album is a…bad sign. I mean, what if this is their last album? I really hope now; avex (trax) can’t give up on them! Also, releasing two types of greatest albums at once is giving me a hint that avex is trying to earn as much money as soon as possible seeing that TVXQ’s popularity is still kinda high at the moment. They are afraid that once they do break up (they can’t, they really can’t!) and can no longer earn as much money, the company still have the money they earned when TVXQ “was” still popular. Hopefully my interpretation is INCORRECT. They have gotta release more new materials in the future! Probably not 2010, but definitely 2011!

I wish TVXQ’s career will be like ayumi hamasaki’s. Look at her, 11 years and still rocking! Totally dominating the Oricon charts at #2 even after a week of the release of her 11th album, Rock ‘n’ Roll Circus!
